Carbon Solutions and Greenhouse Gas Management
BESI greenhouse gas (GHG) solutions are distributed small-scale systems. They capture methane gas at the source and convert it to methanol, turning a gas emission into a liquid, energy-dense transportable fuel at facilities that produce and emit methane in many different locations.
Capture and use of a GHG in a small-scale solution provides sustainable fuel production, strengthens infrastructure, and provides environmental and economic sustainability to each facility as well as to the immediate community.
One of the BESI tools for the capture and conversion of methane emissions at their source provide an immediate, local solution for any emitter of this destructive GHG and instead provides a transportable fuel for use by the emitter or another energy user, such as a DOD installation.
Application of the innovations of this platform provides many options for industrial, agricultural, municipal, and commercial facilities with emissions issues, as well as many opportunities for the outputs to be managed to benefit the local community.
Additional technology for these platforms addresses CO2 capture and conversion into products for industrial sale.
The customization of BESI GHG solutions provides an expected benefit of the facility, scale, and output to match the owners needs and sustainable operation.
GHG solutions include:
- Owners and operators of oil and gas services facilities
- Wastewater treatment facilities
- Animal farms
- Military facilities
